Treatment of spatial neglect and related disorders

Aims
WG3 is structured around three subteams that work toward the final deliverable – a white paper on XR treatment requirements for spatial neglect (SN). Building on WG1’s evidence base, the group translates conventional and novel treatment approaches into flexible XR frameworks – enabling individualised neurorehabilitation across the continuum of care, from clinic to home.
Plan
WG3 works through three subteams toward its white paper:
- Stakeholder Engagement Team: Conducts surveys with clinicians, developers, and patient representatives on XR treatment needs for SN. Findings feed directly into the Delphi process and white paper.
- STSM Team: Identifies and evaluates Short-Term Scientific Missions relevant to WG3 – supporting members in proposing and prioritizing site visits on XR treatment methods for SN.
- Delphi Study & Roundtable Team: Drives expert consensus through a structured Delphi process and at least three roundtables on standardizing XR treatment methods. Produces the final WG3 white paper on XR treatment requirements for SN.
